Shut Down Guantanamo

January 16th ,2008 was the anniversary of the first prisoners being brought to Guantanamo.  Amnesty International and the Religious Campaign Against Torture called for demonstrations that week in Washington DC and local communities. Spirited protests were held to demand the closing of the Guantanamo prison and an end to torture.   The Washington DC demonstration was held January 11.  See http://www.witnesstorture.org/ .
